We just announced that Floship has closed, earlier this year, a pre-series A USD $3.5 million bridge funding round.
Obviously, this is tremendously exciting for us. As we grow and experience positive traction for our service offerings in the marketplace, we are pleased to see our business accelerated through this funding round.
We feel very honored to be working with such respected investors as Taiwan’s Cherubic Ventures, Hong Kong’s Big Bloom and Empiricus Capital and China’s Regent Capital. Ardent Capital and Vectr Ventures led earlier investments into Floship. We are grateful for the opportunity.
We wanted to share our plans for expansion and service improvement based on the investments from this funding round.
Floship’s technology currently integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, “https://business.adobe.com/products/magento/magento-commerce.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”Magento, Amazon and Aftership.
With the funding, we plan to add additional integrations into shopping carts, marketplaces, and orders and inventory management systems. We can also accelerate the development of algorithms that help optimize shipping rates on a per package basis. In addition, we plan to build a set of tools to make it easier for online retailers to manage their daily global fulfillment at scale.
We differentiate ourselves by providing a highly-automated fulfillment experience for online retailers utilizing multiple couriers to obtain the best shipping rates for it’s parcels.
Within the crowdfunding space, we are considered the world’s leading logistics and fulfillment provider for international crowdfunding fulfillment: Some of the world’s most successful crowdfunding campaigns on both the Indiegogo and Kickstarter platforms use our service to ship their rewards to backers worldwide.
We have completed fulfillment for more than 100 crowdfunding campaigns. But we always strive to improve. This is what it means to be a startup. You can never stand still.
